Connor Zilisch to Drive Full Time for JR Motorsports in 2025

The 18-year-old Trackhouse prospect will drive his first full-time season in NASCAR with JRM after racking up an impressive record in sports cars.

JR Motorsports has announced that Connor Zilisch will drive full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025. Zilisch, a Trackhouse Racing developmental driver and winner of the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, will be behind the wheel of the No. 88 Chevrolet starting with the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

Zilisch, 18, from Mooresville, N.C., began racing at the age of five. He has won multiple U.S. national karting championships and set track records at six different venues in his first year in the Sports Car Club of America in 2021. He made his ARCA Menards Series debut in 2023, finishing in the runner-up position. In January 2024, he signed a multi-year agreement with Trackhouse Racing as a developmental driver.

Zilisch will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut with JR Motorsports on September 14 at Watkins Glen International. He will also compete at Kansas Speedway on September 28, Homestead-Miami Speedway on October 26, and Phoenix Raceway on November 9.
