Grant Enfinger has won two of the three truck series playoff races in 2024, having taken Talladega and now Homestead. He had the third-best average running position in this race and by far the best GR-LR: his 3.78 was more than a point above second-best Ty Majeski. His cPOMS was only tenth-best, but he showed he could get around other trucks, doing so multiple times to grab leads.
Layne Riggs somehow has two wins in the five playoff races and had a strong run at Homestead. Had the race been a lap shorter, he would have finished second. Riggs' 10.65 ARP was eleventh-best, but when weighted by how important his laps were, he had the third-best number at 5.77. He had the third-best GR-LR and ninth-best cPOMS. He's put up the eighth-best ARP in the series this season but hasn't been able to convert strong running positions into consistently strong finishes. It's his rookie year in the trucks; perhaps next year he'll find more consistency.
Final note: Corey Heim finished fourth and had a 4.04 ARP on Saturday — the best in the race. Nevertheless, it dropped his season-long intermediate mark from 3.77 to 3.80. He's still running 1.41 positions better than Christian Eckes, who ranks second.
