Corey Heim took a last-lap lead over Ty Majeski, who ran out of fuel, for his sixth win of the year. Majeski finished fifteenth.
The win wasn't entirely undeserved: Heim had the second-best adjusted average speed (cPOMS), behind only Layne Riggs, who finished second.
Here's a chart of their lap speeds. Guess which one is Majeski.
It's Heim's sixth win of the year. With an average finish on skill tracks (non-drafting ovals and road courses) of exactly 8.00 and an average running position of 5.29, it'd appear he's having a historic season — but, his 2023 was better in both regards, and this season Christian Eckes has an AFP of 3.71 and an ARP of 3.80. Nevertheless, his #11 is a rocket ship and it's surprising he won't be in an Xfinity car next season.
