AJ Allmendinger took the win, his first of the year, locking himself in the final four to run for a championship at Phoenix. He was able to fend off a late challenge from Ryan Sieg, who looked like he had the speed late in the race but wasn't able to hold onto the track. Allmendinger took off from the lead in overtime to seal the win.

This was Sieg's fourth top-five of the year, his best since 2020. He also posted his third second-place finish of the year, having previously done so at Texas in April and Talladega a few weeks ago. As it stands, 2024 will be his career-best average finish. He's got the eighth-best average finish in the series, better than Justin Allgaier, Riley Herbst, Sammy Smith, Shane Van Gisbergen, Sam Mayer, Brandon Jones, and Josh Williams. He and RSS Racing are having a fantastic season.

For the most part, the results match what was seen on the track. The top four in the race were four of the top five in adjusted average speed according to cPOMS. Third-placed Allgaier was fastest per the metric, which scores each driver's lap against the fastest speed in the field on said lap, followed by Allmendinger and Sieg. Fourth-placed Chandler Smith was fifth fastest, tailing the interloper in the midst, Cole Custer, who finished eighth. Custer had generally top five full-race metrics due to leading early. His race was a slow slide from the lead to eighth.
