Austin Hill took the win at Homestead, his series-leading fourth win of the year. It was his first intermediate track win of 2024. Statistically, Hill was fastest all day. He had the best net rating and was able to get around other cars all day. He had the best adjusted average speed by a decent margin, with the difference between his cPOMS of 0.9842 gapping second-best Cole Custer's 0.9823 by double the difference between Custer and third-best Aric Almirola's 0.9813. Hill had the most positions gained above expected based on running position gaining 30.11 positions above expected. Next best was Kyle Weatherman's 21.39.

Ryan Sieg scored a seventh place finish. Every week it seems like I mention Sieg. On intermediate tracks this season, he's got the sixth best weighted average running position and the fouth best average finish, behind only Custer, Hill, and Chandler Smith.

A Quick Review of Ryan Sieg
Ryan Sieg continued his impressive season with a second-place finish on Saturday despite spending most of the race mid-pack. At 14.93, 2024 has his best average since 2019 (14.61), fueled by an Xfinity series-best 78% success rate. That average finish is better than fellow race winners Riley Herbst
