Aric Almirola worked his way to the front off a caution around the ¾ mark of the race, having done similar to start the race. Almirola took the lead from Cole Custer and Chandler Smith, who averaged running positions of 2.13 and 1.73, respectively. Almirola finished with an ARP of 6.95 — eighth best in the race.
