William Byron's loop data ARP of 1.51 was fifth best in Lap Raptor's loop database for non-winners. His race was one of the most dominant you've ever seen if you didn't see the third stage.

If you did see the third stage, you'd feel Ryan Blaney was robbed. From 20 laps out from the scheduled finish, he was about a half-second faster than anyone else around him. I think if Byron had been on the front row for the overtime restart, he'd have run away just like Hamlin. His average restart speed was miles better than the rest of the field:
