William Byron's loop data ARP of 1.51 was fifth best in Lap Raptor's loop database for non-winners. His race was one of the most dominant you've ever seen if you didn't see the third stage.

Driver Date Track Finish ARP

Kyle Larson 2023-03-12 Phoenix Raceway 4 1.39

William Byron 2025-04-06 Darlington Raceway 2 1.51
Kyle Busch 2022-02-06 Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum 2 1.65
Denny Hamlin 2021-04-18 Richmond Raceway 2 1.71
Clint Bowyer 2019-02-15 Daytona International Speedway 2 1.78
Denny Hamlin 2021-04-11 Martinsville Speedway 3 1.82
Denny Hamlin 2021-09-12 Richmond Raceway 2 1.83

If you did see the third stage, you'd feel Ryan Blaney was robbed. From 20 laps out from the scheduled finish, he was about a half-second faster than anyone else around him. He's a cap of said laps from the Lap Raptor Live lap view (that is the only link to that view on the public Internet, FYI — it's not even linked to from Lap Raptor Live, which only has one public link thereto on the public Internet).

I think if Byron had been on the front row for the overtime restart, he'd have run away just like Hamlin. His average restart speed was miles better than the rest of the field:

Driver Finish ARP Avg. Restart Speed
William Byron 2 1.517 161.887
Tyler Reddick 4 6.956 158.710
Chris Buescher 6 8.117 158.551
Denny Hamlin 1 8.181 158.543
Ryan Blaney 5 8.802 157.608
